The recent surge in daytime lootings targeting Tamil jewelry stores in Scarborough/Markham is a matter of grave concern for our community. As leaders and stakeholders, we believe it is vital to collaborate and develop proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of our businesses and residents.
The Canadian Tamil Chamber of Commerce (CTCC) is organizing a public meeting to address these concerns.
Date: Friday, December 6, 2024
Time: 3:00 PM
Venue: CTCC Business Centre, 80 Travail Road, Unit 1, Markham ON
This meeting will bring together law enforcement representatives, city councillors, jewelry store owners, and other business leaders to discuss insights, preventative strategies, and how we can create a united front against such incidents.
