Dear Members,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend. Last month was eventful, filled with successful initiatives such as the AI Training, the Radiothon for SHN Foundation, and our annual CTCC Golf Classic. These events exemplify the strength of our community and its dedication to growth and philanthropy.
As we look ahead, I would like to remind everyone of our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 26th. I encourage all members to join us for this important event.
At this time, I would also like to share some personal news. Due to my increasingly busy business commitments, I have made the decision to step down from my role as President of the Chamber. Leading the CTCC over the past year has been a deeply rewarding experience, and I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support I’ve received from our sponsors, advisors, board members, committee members, and all of you—our valued members.
While my time as President is coming to an end, my commitment to the Chamber remains steadfast. I will continue to support this organization, as I have over the past six years. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the incoming board and warmly welcome them as they take the Chamber into its next chapter. I also wish to thank the outgoing board members for their tireless efforts and contributions during my presidency.
I look forward to seeing you all at the AGM and continuing to work together for the success of the Chamber and our community.
Warm regards,
Murali Sivaguru
President, CTCC

We are thrilled to share that our AI Presentation on September 18th was a great success! Thank you to everyone who attended.
Mai Mavinkurve delivered an insightful session, covering everything from the basics to advanced applications of AI, and its potential to revolutionize the way we conduct business. She highlighted how AI can help business owners in various ways. We were all left inspired by the ways AI is already impacting our daily lives and businesses.
We are excited to announce that this is just the beginning! More industry-specific AI training and presentations will be held in the near future, allowing our members to dive deeper into how AI can help their specific fields.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you for your incredible support at the Tamil Radiothon on September 25th. The day at the donation center was truly fantastic, and it was heartwarming to witness our community come together for such an important cause.
With your generosity and the help of East FM Radio, we raised over $122,000—an amazing achievement that will significantly support the highest priority needs at Scarborough hospitals.
Although the radiothon has ended, the opportunity to make a difference continues. Donations will be accepted on the website until the end of the year, so let’s keep the momentum going!
