I am delighted to extend my warmest greetings to each and every one of you as we embark on an exciting new chapter of the Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce (CTCC).
At the heart of our organization’s mission lies the promotion of our talented members and the facilitation of opportunities for their success. Our goal has always been to serve as a platform that amplifies the voice and achievements of Canadian Tamil entrepreneurs, highlighting their invaluable contributions to the business landscape in Canada and beyond.
To further our objectives, we are thrilled to launch our inaugural e-newsletter, a dynamic digital medium that will keep you informed about the latest developments within our chamber and the wider business community. This newsletter will serve as a valuable resource, delivering updates on our corporate members, sharing insights from industry leaders, and providing a comprehensive calendar of events, seminars, and workshops.
Our commitment to fostering growth and learning remains unwavering. With this e-newsletter, we aim to cultivate a vibrant ecosystem where knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration flourish. It is through such initiatives that we can collectively shape a brighter future for Canadian Tamil entrepreneurs, opening doors to new possibilities and expanding horizons.
I encourage all our members to actively participate in our events, engage with fellow entrepreneurs, and seize the opportunities presented by the CTCC network.
Thank you once again for being a part of the Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce family. I am confident that the future holds great promise, and I look forward to celebrating many more milestones together.
Warmest regards,
Vina DevadasPresident
We bring to your attention the recent development in the financial landscape of Canada. Last week, the Bank of Canada made an important decision regarding mortgage rates. In response to the prevailing economic conditions and in an effort to balance various factors, the Bank of Canada announced an increase in the mortgage rate by 0.25%. This decision comes as part of the central bank’s ongoing efforts to manage inflation and ensure a stable and sustainable economy. While this increase may have implications for borrowers, it is important to note that it reflects the changing dynamics of the financial market and the bank’s commitment to maintaining a healthy economic environment.
As always, we encourage you to stay informed and seek professional advice for any financial decisions you may be considering. We will continue to provide updates on key developments in the financial sector to ensure you are well-informed.

CTCC had an absolute blast at Niagara Falls, and it was all thanks to all attaendee’s enthusiastic participation and positive energy throughout the day. From the awe-inspiring sights of the falls to the thrilling Go Kart and sightseeing experiences, every moment was filled with joy and excitement.
The wine tasting experience was a delightful highlight of the trip, allowing us to indulge in exquisite flavors and appreciate the region’s finest offerings. Lunch at the winery provided a perfect opportunity to relax and savor a delicious meal amidst beautiful surroundings. And who could forget the unforgettable dinner at the Skylon Tower, with its breathtaking views of the falls? It truly was a feast for the senses.
Moreover, the journey itself was a source of joy and camaraderie. The bus ride was filled with laughter, conversations, and bonding moments. It was a pleasure to witness the connections and friendships that blossomed throughout the day.
CTCC is thrilled to hear that everybody thoroughly enjoyed the outing and that there is a strong desire to return again in the future.
