Dear Valued Members,
As we welcome the month of May, I want to thank each of you for your continued support and active involvement in our Chamber. It’s been a vibrant spring season so far, and we’re proud of the momentum we’re building together.
April was a month to remember! Our Gala Night was a tremendous success—an evening filled with celebration, connections, and community pride. Thank you to everyone who attended and made the night so special.
In May, we continued our tradition of giving back by making an $8,000 donation to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation (MSHF). Philanthropy remains at the heart of CTCC’s mission, and we are grateful to be in a position to support important causes in our community.
Looking ahead, we’re excited about our upcoming Startup Pitch Competition on June 7th, hosted in collaboration with CTPA and Good News Ventures. This daytime event brings together both tech and non-tech founders who will be pitching their ventures for a chance to win the top prize. We invite all members and friends to join us for this dynamic event filled with innovation, inspiration, and networking opportunities.
Please note: registration is required to attend, as seating is limited.
More corporate members’ events are also in the pipeline—great opportunities to connect, build partnerships, and enjoy an enriching evening among peers. Stay tuned for updates and make sure to be part of the action.
As always, thank you for being a part of CTCC. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue building a thriving, united Tamil business community.
Warm regards,
Ari A. Ariaran
President, CTCC

Members of the Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce (CTCC) came together to celebrate unity and philanthropy at their annual Festival of Colours Night held on April 19, 2025. In a heartwarming gesture of community support, CTCC members proudly donated $8,000 to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation (MSHF).
The vibrant evening, filled with cultural performances, music, and celebration, served as more than just a festive gathering — it was an opportunity to give back. The donation reflects CTCC’s continued commitment to supporting local healthcare initiatives and strengthening community well-being.
Representatives from MSHF expressed their gratitude for the generous contribution, noting the funds will directly support patient care and essential medical services in the region.
This latest act of giving is part of CTCC’s broader mission to blend business success with meaningful community impact.
