Dear Members,

As we welcome the summer, I am filled with immense pride and joy reflecting on the past month’s events hosted by the Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce (CTCC). Our recent activities have not only demonstrated the vibrant spirit of our community but also underscored our commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and networking opportunities.

Our inaugural Women’s Committee event, the EntreprenHer Networking Event, was a remarkable success. The turnout was exceptional, with numerous women entrepreneurs and professionals coming together to connect, share experiences, and inspire one another. The enthusiasm and energy were profound, and I am confident that this is just the beginning of many more such empowering events.

On June 15th, we had the privilege of hosting our 2nd Annual Startup Pitch Competition in collaboration with the Canadian Tamil Professionals Association (CTPA) and Good News Ventures. The event was attended by over 150 people, predominantly young and energetic individuals brimming with entrepreneurial spirit. The pitches were innovative and inspiring, showcasing the incredible talent within our community. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many participants and attendees calling for more events of this scale.

The success of these events is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, committee members, and partners. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved. Your support and enthusiasm drive us to continue organizing impactful events that benefit our community.
